Is there a mapping from SNOMED CT to Loinc codes if so when can we expect a release

Hello everyone - to clarify the position on LOINC:

Yes, there is a Technology Preview edition for the LOINC mapping available for download from Collabnet - please find the link here:

There is a planned enhancement to this release package scheduled shortly (by the end of February 2015), which will contain the Expressions Refset and Text Definitions.

As far as the complete, Production edition is concerned, this Release will be planned once all feedback from the Technology Preview stage has been received and assimilated.

The work on mapping between SNOMED CT and LOINC Part codes is underway as is development of associations between LOINC Term codes and SNOMED CT Expressions. An alpha release (in OWL format) a technical preview release of this for the most commonly used LOINC Terms is scheduled for PREVIEW release in August 2014. A more substantial release of these maps and associations is planned for January 2015.

How is the Snomed - LOINC mapping progressing? Is there a preview release available now? I've been familiarizing myself with Snomed CT through the UMLS distribution. I wonder if the LOINC mapping (or the preview) be included in the material available through UMLS?
