SNOMED CT users who intend to use the Global Medical Device Nomenclature (GMDN) codes and want to obtain the SNOMED CT to GMDN Simple Map should apply to GMDN Agency (https://www.gmdnagency.org/) for a license. Once GMDN Agency confirms that a license has been issued, SNOMED International will make the map available as a download. The map has been available to the public by this process from July 31, 2015.
