The Veterinary Extension to SNOMED CT (VetSCT) is maintained in trust for the veterinary community by the Veterinary Terminology Services Laboratory (VTSL) at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. VetSCT is an authorized, formal extension to SNOMED CT which provides content of veterinary importance as well as terms (descriptions) used by veterinarians that are not commonly used in human health.
To gain access to VetSCT, please go to http://vtsl.vetmed.vt.edu/extension/ and follow the instructions on the Login/Register page. Access to VetSCT is covered by the SNOMED CT Affiliate licence, and is free to use in SNOMED International Member countries
